We all know that diversity is key to foster the discovery of innovative solution to complex problems. And we do have more and more complex problems to solved in this digital era.
But are we really sure to tap into the power of what diversity could bring. Are we really understanding what diversity really is.
Neurodiversity, is the word term that describes neurological differences. It is manifested in conditions that are called Austism, ADHD or dyslexia.
Unfortunately the narrative about neurodiverse people too often put emphasis on their challenges, as if neurotypical people don’t have their fair share of challenges as well.
Neurodiverse people do have a unique set of skills that enable them to see the world from a different perspective, with this outside-the-box thinking that is so critical to solve complex problems, to "think different" as they say, and for example, face the next cybersecurity or artificial intelligence challenges.
Let’s talk about how technology can help neurodiverse children to strive at school and get better prepared to bring forward their unique contributions, so essential in this digital age to succeed in tackling some of the Grand challenges of our century.
