Maria Axente is PwC Responsible AI lead, managing the company's efforts in deploying responsible AI and data across the UK business, its operations and clients.
She is a globally recognised, award winning AI ethics expert, a public policy contributor, a member of Advisory Boards at the UK All-Party Parliamentary Group on AI (APPG AI) and the ORBIT & SKEMA AI Institute.
She is also a Vice Chair of techUK Data and AI leadership committee and a member of BSI/ISO & IEEE AI standard groups.
Maria is a passionate advocate for children rights in the age of AI, serving as member of the Advisory Board for UNICEF #AI4Children and World Economic Forum Generation AI programmes.
